Broome shire has received an unconfirmed saltwater crocodile sighting from Town Beach (Old Jetty).

“There’s been an unconfirmed sighting of a crocodile at Town Beach about 12.30pm today.
“The beach remains open, but warning signs have been put in place, and Shire Rangers and the Department of Parks and Wildlife are monitoring the area.
“Contact DPaW for more information.”
